NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Monday, August 27, 2007 – 7:00 P.M.
Newcastle School Library
I. Call to order
II. Announcement by chairman that a quorum is present, that the meeting has been duly called and that the notice of the meeting has been duly posted for time and manner as required by law.
III. Public meeting to discuss budget and proposed tax rate for 2007-2008.
IV. Adoption of budget for 2007-08.
V. Approval of ordinance which sets the maintenance & operations tax rate for 2007-08.
VI. Consideration of amendments to the 2006-07 budget.
VII. Closed Session:
A. Employment, retirement, resignations and discussion of personnel. Gov’t Code 551.074
VIII. Reconvene from closed session for action relative to items considered during closed session.
IX. Adjournment
If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Tex. Gov’t. Code, Chapter 551, Sub-chapters D&E.
