About Me

I am a 1983 graduate of Newcastle High School
with a BS in Education from Midwestern State
University. I currently teach PreK, am the school's
UIL director, PTO president and coordinator
of the Little Dribblers program.

My husband, Donnie, and I have three
beautiful and talented daughters; Heather,
who is 11 y/o and in the 6th grade;
Holly, who is 10 y/o and in the 5th grade;
and Hannah, who is 6 y/o and in 2nd grade.

After teaching/coaching for 18 years in secondary, I switched gears and began teaching the energetic, enthusiastic and loveable 4 year olds.
Talk about an about-face! I truly think that
I have finally found my calling.

I enjoy spending time with my family and watching Heather and Holly drag race. Yes, I said drag race. We spend many a Saturday at Wichita Raceway Park in Wichita Falls, TX where Heather is the 2007 NHRA Jr. Dragster Challenge Sportsman Champion and the 2007 WRP Sportsman Track Champion!!
