| Welcome to the Newcastle ISD web-page
for Roberta Hewlett. This is my second year at Newcastle but
have 15+ years experience in education. My experience as a
teacher comes from teaching 3rd grade in Vernon and Mineral Wells
and 2nd grade in Mineral Wells. My certification includes
elementary education, English as a Second Language, and Bilingual
Education. I am also a wife, mother, and grandmother.
My goal in education is to teach children to love learning.
My position at Newcastle School includes 3rd grade, 4th grade
and 5th grade Science, Language and Writing, and 3rd grade
Spelling. My first year at Newcastle was a roaring success for the students. With a lot of hard work and fun learning, we achieved the state rating of explementary. Of course, we are challenging ourselves to repeat this level of success. It is truly a joy to be in Newcastle. |
