Best to Leave Some Things in the Past!

This will be a quick little article just to let some of our nationwide readers know that the Bobcats had a bad night at Woodson where anything that could go wrong, did go wrong! No doubt that Coach Spitzer will be able to use this film as an example of how things can go from bad to worse real quick.
The Bobcats took the opening kickoff and went four and out. The Cowboys got the ball and went straight down the field and scored. The Bobcats came right back and with at least one outstanding catch from Ryan Bohannon scored on a five yard run by Brandon Bailey. Taylor Lewis kicked the extra point and it appeared to be "game on"!
But that was not to be this night because all of a sudden bad things started happening to the Bobcats. Two interceptions, one for a touchdown, and two lost fumbles gave the Cowboys all the extra help they didn't need this night. I kept thinking if we make it to half-time, Coach Spitzer will make the necessary adjustments and we'll be right back in the game. With less than 30 seconds left in the half, the Cowboys scored twice to put them ahead by 46 points and that was the end of the game.
The only positive thing to come from this game was no injuries and the lessons to be learned from the mistakes that were made. There is no doubt that Coach Spitzer and Wilkinson will have the Bobcats ready to play another long time nemesis - the Gordon Longhorns - this Friday night. I bet we see a whole new Bobcat team with renewed energy.
