Our students and teachers have worked very hard and been wildly successful on the TAKS in recent years.  Our students have not only been successful on the state test, but they have been learning the academic material that is so important to their education and the preparation for their future careers.  I couldn’t be more pleased!  Well, you know me, maybe just a little.  Our school earned a “Recognized” rating ranking us in the top 20% of the schools in Texas. 80% of the schools in Texas would have loved to have earned a “Recognized” rating, but we were only two test scores on one test under the top Texas rating of “Exemplary”, which would have ranked us in the top 2% of the schools in Texas.  We have set “Exemplary” as a goal this year.  I believe that we are one of the best schools in Texas.
