Ag Mechanics Show Results

The Newcastle FFA Ag Mechanics Team made an impressive showing at the Young County Stock Show Thursday, January 10.  The team had twelve participants and 9 projects presented. Boomer Whitaker was the winner of the day with the Overall Grand Champion project with his welding table.  Boomer won 1st place metal feeders and 1st place and Metal Grand Champion with his welding table in the metal workshop equipment. Matthew Little, Daniel Martinez, and David Gossett placed second in the Metal Cooking Equipment division with their grill. Bryson Holland and Chase Ford placed 1st in the wooden outdoor furniture division with their Adirondack Chairs.  Luke Eli placed second in the wooden outdoor furniture division with his picnic table/bench. In the wooden indoor furniture division, Rylee Hardin placed third with her saddle rack, Tristen Craft and Carter McWhorter placed fourth with their mantel clock, and Christian Chapla placed fifth with his Cross-Bow cabinet. In the Metal spurs, bits, and knives division, Quint Hare placed second with his spurs.
